my journey
After years of working in Emergency Care I embarked on my Counselling training. Initially with an
introduction to counselling skills. During this 13 week course I gained a true sense of myself and was
inspired to pursue my self-awareness journey. I continued my study and graduated in 2018 with a
Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis.
I worked as a student counsellor at the Andover Crisis Centre and continued with this role once
qualified, during which time I adapted my training to work with each individual client. In January 2021 I set up my private practice, offering walking, talking, therapy sessions. Due to the pandemic, meeting one other person for a walk was the only option for meeting with clients face to face. Walking, Talking,Therapy was born out of necessity, however it ignited a passion for working in nature and making counselling accessible for those who don't connect with the idea of traditional therapy. The majority of my client work is nature based and I focus my continued professional development in this area.
One size does not fit all and I am passionate about creating a tailored therapeutic journey for my clients, providing the opportunity for zoom, phone and face to face sessions from my garden therapy room in Andover, Hampshire.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work
within their ethical framework, ensuring a confidential and non-judgemental environment.

For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction
